2026 Grand Marshall
Dave and Dink Rife
Dave and Mary Lou “Dink” Rife are longtime Graeagle residents whose lives have been defined by service, creativity, and community spirit.
Dave "Coach" Rife was a teacher at Portola High School for many years. Dink has called Plumas County home since 1964 and devoted her career to education as a teacher and counselor, impacting generations of local students. She is also the author of The Graeagle Bear, a story inspired by the beauty and character of the region she loves.
Together, Dave and Dink have been active supporters of community organizations, including the Eastern Plumas Community Assistance Network (EPCAN), helping strengthen and uplift the people of Eastern Plumas County.
Their decades of dedication, generosity, and hometown pride make them truly deserving of the honor of Grand Marshals for the 2026 Graeagle Fourth of July Parade.
