The Graeagle Independence Day Parade Committee warmly invites you to participate in the 2026 Fourth of July Parade! To those who have joined us in years past, we extend our sincere thanks for helping make this cherished community tradition so special.

Our parade is a relaxed, family-friendly event featuring approximately 50–70 entries each year.

🎆 2026 Parade Theme

“Happy 250th Birthday, America!”
We encourage all participants to bring the theme to life with festive decorations, creative costumes, and patriotic music.


📝 Registration

  • Online registration closes: Thursday, July 2 at 12:00 PM
  • Entry donation: $30.00
    (Free for emergency medical and fire protection providers)

📍 Parade Day Details

  • Assembly & Check-In: Begins at 10:00 AM (check-in at 10:30 AM)
  • Location: Jamison Road, Goldridge Estates (Highway A14), Blairsden
    (Approximately ½ mile off Highway 89)
  • Parade Start Time: Promptly at 12:00 PM

🚲 Kids on Bikes – Britton Memorial Bike Brigade

  • No registration or entry fee required
  • Meet at Movin’ West RV Park
  • Bikes can be decorated on-site
  • Helmets are required for all participants
  • Parents are asked not to leave vehicles at Movin’ West

🚶 Parade Guidelines & Dispersal

  • Please maintain parade order as assigned at assembly
  • Keep approximately 20 yards between entries
  • Do not stop or leave the parade line until reaching the designated dispersal area

At the conclusion of the parade:

  • All floats, off-road vehicles, and riders must return immediately to the staging area
  • Participants riding in pickup beds or ATVs who do not return promptly may be cited by CHP

🇺🇸 Flag Policy

Only U.S. and official state flags are permitted.
(No political flags or signage allowed.)
Entries displaying unapproved flags after the parade begins may not be invited to participate in future events.


⚠️ Safety Rules

  • No throwing of candy or any items from parade entries
  • This includes water or any objects, as it creates safety hazards and violates permit and insurance requirements
  • Items may be handed out by participants walking alongside the crowd, as long as spectators remain safely off the roadway

🐾 Dogs in the Parade

If including dogs in your entry:

  • Protect their paws from hot pavement
  • Bring water and ensure they stay hydrated before and during the parade

Road Closures

The parade will begin promptly at noon. The staging area at Goldridge Estates, located off Johnsville Road, is expected to become congested starting around 10:00 AM. Johnsville Road between Highway 89 and Mohawk Road will be closed beginning at 11:00 AM. In addition, Highway 89—from the Frostee to downtown Graeagle—will be closed at 11:45 AM for approximately 50 minutes during the parade.
