Volunteer - We Want You!

Volunteers make this difference and this is especially true with the Graeagle Independence Day events.

Whether it is an individual or a group – volunteerism and support from the community make for a successful weekend.  There is a variety of volunteer opportunities: Become a volunteer—just complete and send the Volunteer Contact Form. Volunteer groups welcome!

The following volunteer opportunities are available. If you are interested, please submit the volunteer contact form. A volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you.

Behind every great event are great volunteers. We appreciate you making Graeagle and Plumas County a great place to live and visit.

  • Parade Check-in

    This is a great job for a team of two or more. You would be at a table at the parade staging area. (Goldridge Estates) 11:00-1:00. You'll still have time to get to your favorite parade viewing spot.

  • Keep Graeagle Green Team Leader

    Team coordinator and point person. Gather & motivate individuals to help keep Graeagle green. Coordinate volunteers, and decide clean-up times.

  • Keep Graeagle Green Team

    Help keep the town clean. Unlimited volunteers needed. Teams, groups, clubs are welcome. Coordinate with team leader. Bags and disposable gloves may be provided. Early morning on Sunday, the late afternoon on Sunday...anytime really. A short shift of an hour would really make a difference.

  • Caution Tape- Yellow

    A roll or two of yellow caution tape for marking off the fireworks area.
